Forgive

This is the first angry blog i've posted. After an incident last night, i'm stunned. Recently a friend of mine posted on Facebook We should forgive our enemies what about forgiving our friends. At the time i thought ,"Hmm, interesting and just kept on reading posts. Last night a close friend of mine was verbally slapped in the face by someone she has loved, helped and defended for years. i am enraged. i have been hurt be lots of people and as much as i call my self Bossy Bear and as much as people think i have loose lips or a big mouth, i have never spoken to people as vehemently as my friend was spoken to last night. i have lived in NJ for 20 years and still have to get used to the in your face that people around here employ. i'm told is specific to the central NJ/NY area. i've had enough; i'm ready to leave. Don't get me wrong, in RI i had plenty of misunderstandings with friends. Sadly, i've lost touch with many of those people. But the levels of anger, hatred and grudge holding that exists in Jersey just isn't present in other places. i have so called "friends" in this state force me out of a job. "Friends" have left nasty posts on my wall and have never explained why they've decided to write me off, their children have treated my daughter in despicable ways. But my daughter Gianna is the one bright spot. The best thing that happened to me was born in NJ. So for her, we'll give Metuchen, NJ one more year. As the new school year begins, we'll give it another shot. Forgive our friends, forget our enemies. Let go, and let GOD.

  1. I know that it's a much gentler, friendly area where we live now (in southern DE) than it very was in the 43 years I lived in central NJ....so I can't help prove your post wrong! The pace is slower here...the folks are friendlier.....a refreshing change from the rat-race and nonsense in central NJ...that's for sure! I'm sorry about your friend having this happen last night and about the troubles you have had, too. I guess you'd head back up north if you make a move, but.....you should consider this area, too (and it's not far from Chincoteague, either.....LOL)
